Jumpin' June Chickies! Don't the months go by fast? I'm still singing happy May Day, and before you know it, the kids are home from school and ready to drive us crazy for the whole summer. Don't expect my July and August newsletters to be as chipper.

Egg-citing stuff happening here at chickslayingnesteggs.com. First, Chick Fest '01 is getting nearer!! Start talking to your club now and get your reservations in! Before you know it, it's going to be July and you'll be sayin', "OHMYGOSH, I forgot to register for Chick Fest '01, and now they're full! My club is missing out on the event of the summer because of my lameness!" Just do it.

Next, our Club of the Month, Girls Just Wanna Have Funds has given us a brilliant idea to add to the My Club area of our site. The Girls told us that we should have an area for clubs to house the research they've done on certain companies. Brilliant, Fund Girls! So, we've added an area under My Club for you to keep just the companies you want in a special folder that you and your club have researched. In the My Club area you are able to keep all the minutes from your club meeting, your operating procedures, your buy and sell procedures and even your portfolio! Check out the Girls Just Wanna Have Funds club. I'm thinking if Crown Publishers had seen them, they might have put their picture on the back of the book.

Speaking of Club of the Month... the first club to get us their picture will be our Club of the Month for July. Hurry Hurry... it's a big thrill. Call all your members now and get that perfect shot. Send it to ChickJana@aol.com.

Oh yeah, one more thing, don't forget to check out our Chick's Eye View. Each day this month, we are going into detail on the companies that we recently considered for our quarterly Chick "buy." June was the month of buying. We ended up purchasing stock in Medtronic (MDT) on June 3, 2001, but there were many, many great companies that didn't get our majority vote. We wanted to highlight them as it was a close call and they are still up for consideration for our next buy in September.

Phew, you've got a lot to do this month.   Hey... my high school girlfriends just started a club this past week. And no, they didn't name themselves, "Karin Housley's High School Girlfriends' Investment Club." Believe me, I tried. I guess they came up with "Chicks With Cents". It must have come in second to, "Bowling For Dollars". Great name Chickies... now get us a picture! Remember... first picture in wins!! (Maybe wear something festive... like Independence Day-ish?)
