Question of the Week

QOW Archives »

If you were allowed to watch only one movie for the rest of your life, which one would it be?

Chick Julie  Wow, thanks a lot for the impossible question of the week. Maybe one of my favorites that I could watch forever is A Few Good Men. But in other categories... Best Western: Chisum; Best Musical: Sound of Music; Best Drama: Gone with the Wind; Best Comedy: Vacation.

Chick Cheryl  This question is so easy for me to answer! If I could only see one more movie for the rest of my life it would have to be We Were Soldiers that is being released next spring. It stars Mel Gibson and my husband has a role in it. Its a Viet Nam story and from all accounts, its pretty powerful. The screenplay is written and directed by the same man that wrote Braveheart, Randall Wallace. My other wish is that my dad will be sitting in the theater watching it with me. He's read the script and the book that it's based on and was incredibly moved.

Chick Megan  Probably You've Got Mail, because I love the characters and I LOVE the messages throughout. It's a "feel-good" movie which would probably behoove me much more than say, The Godfather or Night, Mama.

Chick Jana  Of course mine would be tie: Sound of Music and Shawshank Redemption. The first for the music, the scenery and the love story and the second for the will to keep going.

Chick Jeanette  If I could only see one movie for the rest of my life it would be either Gone With the Wind or Sound of Music. Let's see... perhaps... no, I can't even choose between them. When it really comes down to making that decision I will spend time on deciding.

Chick Kristin  If I had to watch one movie for the rest of my life, then I would watch none. I would prefer a book!
