What 3 things are you most thankful for today? I am thankful for the difficult times, because during those times I grow. I am thankful for my limitations, because they give me opportunities for improvement. I am thankful for each new challenge, because it builds strength and character. (Chick Susie)

If you could be anyone for a week, who would you be? This is so easy 'cuz I've thought about it so many times. I would love to be one of my kids for a day. Each child for one day... four days would be all I need. I would just like to get inside their head to see what kind of parents Phil and I are, how they feel about themselves, the world and each other, and how their brain works. If I knew this, my job would be so much easier. (Chick Karin)

What was the last fib you told? When my fiancé and I showed up a day early at the doctor's office for our son's appointment that I made, I told my fiancé that the doctor had an emergency and was pulled away. He still has no idea and thinks the doctor's office was dumb for not calling and telling us he had an emergency. (Chick Jana)

What are your rules pertaining to greeting someone with a kiss? Are you kidding? I work in the entertainment industry... its like a hand shake! Except never when there's a herpe on the lip!!  (Chick Cheryl)

If you could go back to your college days, what would you have done differently? Studied. (Chick Karin)

What qualities make a person a best friend? A best friend is a person who goes around saying nice things about you behind your back. A best friend is someone who does things that count, but never stops to count them. A best friend is someone who knows all about you but loves you anyway. A best friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you today. (Chick Susie)

What will your video answer machine look like? My kids, of course; the camera will already add ten pounds, for Gods sake! (Chick Megan)

What's the most daring thing you've done? Hmmm, would wearing a skin-tight turquoise leopard print outfit to dinner count? I lasted ten minutes and then put a sweater on. (Chick Karin) . When I was 19 yrs. old, I hitchhiked across Europe with a college friend. We left summer school in Norway, took trains to Copenhagen, Denmark where we bought bicycles, intending to ride them from country to country. That lasted about a week and a half, so we started hitchhiking. First we hitchhiked with our bikes (meaning we could only get rides in trucks) but soon gave the bikes to some Italian guys (who said they would sell them and send us the money... sure) and for the next 3 months we continued to hitch hike with just us. Lots of exciting stories connected with it. (Chick Jeanette)

What's your most memorable wild life experience? My ex-husband was a beast, does that count? (Chick Julie)

What's the last thing that made you laugh so hard you couldn't stop? Let's see... well today, for instance, while driving the kids in the car, we all pretended we were from Texas. We were only allowed to speak with a Southern accent for the next 28 miles (the distance we live from school). Wilson sounded like he had a lisp, Reide was a confused Swedish girl (couldn't quite get the whole accent thing going), Taylor melded her accent with some rap singer lingo and Avery just kept yelling at all of us, "I can't understand you! Stop talking like that!" Y'all try it some time. Very funny. (Chick Karin)

What are your favorite Christmas gifts? We started taking the kids on vacations, leaving on the 25th and going thru the New Year. The only gifts that they received were their stockings when we were on the plane. They were filled with swim suits, sunscreen and candy. All five of them still say to us, "Remember when we went there and did that?" They never say, "Remember when you bought me that?" (Chick Lynn)
