Question of the Week

QOW Archives »

If you could live the live of any TV character, which one would it be?

CHICKS' ANSWERS

Does Katie Couric qualify for a TV character? I hope so because that is who I would like to be. She interviews fascinating people, she has to be informed and up-to-date with current events. She has a flexible work schedule, is paid well and can still spend quality time with her children. Lucky lady, Katie!  Chick Kristin

Tough question. I've spent fifteen minutes thinking and still can't come up with an answer... then I figured out why. I really don't watch TV. I guess if I am forced to answer, I'd pick Lovey of Gilligan's Island. She's got the wardrobe, a husband who adores her and gets to spend her days and nights on a tropical island.  Chick Karin

Sydney Bristow on ABC's Alias. Once again, I may be confusing fact with fiction...I think I'd rather be actress Jennifer Garner for being able to play such a kick-butt role with such heart. Sydney's personal life is actually too sad for me.  Chick Cheryl

Today I'd like to be C.J. from West Wing, the United States Press Secretary. It would be great to be in her shoes to see everything she sees and how she can influence policies in the making. I like how she's one to share it with the rest of the United States. Oh yeah, I may want to be one of those babes on Baywatch, I have no idea any of their names since Pamela left but it would be "uplifting" to hang out in their body for a day and also work on the beach. Now that would be fun!  Chick Jana

The person who comes to my mind first is Barbara Walters. At one of my recent class reunions, I went around the whole crowd with a mike "playing" Barbara and interviewing everyone in the crowd and being taped while I did it. It was so much fun -- just thinking of the most appropriate questions to ask each individuals. Maybe, it is because I am basically nosey, but properly asking each correct question would be so much fun. Chick Jeanette

I would be CJ from West Wing. I'm obsessed with the inner circle of the Presidents. I want to ride on Air Force One, too. Chick Julie

I would be Laura Petry. First, she is gorgeous. Second, she is the All-American girl. Third, she is married to Rob, a comic genius, who I have secretly been in love with my whole life. Look at life then versus life now... I just think she had a lot of good nights sleep.  Chick Megan

YOUR ANSWERS

What do you mean IF? I'm already living the life of Marge on The Simpson. If you ever met my Homer, you'd know what I'm talking about.  anonymous

I Dream of Jeannie!!!!  Judy

I guess I haven't watched that much TV lately, but I'm aware that I really admire the Helen Campbell character on The Practice. Even though she often comes off as the ice queen, she seems to enjoy it. She's classy, and firm in her convictions. She's not made out to be perfect, which of course makes her more real, and she loves her work.  Brooke

Oh, I love that woman on Alias. What a life of adventure! If only it were true...  Marcy
