Question of the WeekQOW Archives »How would you improve the Superbowl? What the Chicks Said... Oh Gee, could it get much better than a special Playmates edition of Fear Factor during halftime?! Seriously, I'd like to have my Dad here with me watching the 49er's WIN!!!! A girl can dream, can't she? Chick Cheryl On Superbowl Sunday, they should make it 1/2 price Spa day. The women should really get something out of this day, too. Don't get me wrong; I love a good football game, but all the hype sometimes is a bit much. I would love to get with all my friends at the neighborhood spa, watch the Superbowl while getting massages, getting facials and walking around in my robe and slippers. Oh, yes, all the kids are there too, making arts and crafts and getting made homemade macaroni and cheese by Martha Stewart and Rosie O'Donnell. It's just one big girl party! Chick Jana I'd have it catered. Oh, you mean the game. Who watches the game?? Chick Karin Sorry Chickies, no creative energy here. I'm just as happy sitting at home with a bowl of homemade chili watching the game with my husband. I think the event is over marketed, to be honest. I would much rather watch the Ice Bowl than the overpriced Super Bowl commercials. Chick Kristin I would combine Super Bowl Sunday with a Super Bridge Tournament. Sound like fun? Chick Jeanette Superbowl Sunday often turns into a boring game with a lousy halftime show. I think the shuffling of teams next year in different divisions will help. I also think they need to have a great halftime show for the TV audience. Chick Julie Make Super Bowl Monday a national holiday. Chick Susie What You Said... Declare the township "dry" and sabatoge the cable lines and rabbit ears for all the TV's in the house. Betsy Scantily clad male cheerleaders (of the Chippendale persuasion)? anonymous Have Martha Stewart sit at the desk and do a play-by-play with cooking demonstrations, room makeovers or stock tips for Chicks during the timeouts. Martha's a mean trader. Lizzy I would definitely have the game come on earlier in the day. I mean, who can go to a great Superbowl party, come home and get enough sleep before the next morning? Dawn That's easy... a decent half-time show!! Tracy |
