What's your biggest pet peeve?

Yup... I just came from the bathroom again and the husband hung the new toilet paper roll and he hung it the WRONG WAY. Again. There is a right way and a wrong way to hang it and i know my way is the right way and I have told him so many times! Chick Jeanette

My biggest pet peeve is probably people who commit to something and then cancel at the last minute without any regard for others. Chick Julie

This is a HUGE one. Parents who bring obviously sick children to birthday parties, school, playdates, etc. That is the reason for the never-ending cycle of illness! Chick Cheryl

No accountability. "Well it was so-and-so's job to do that." or "I'm not sure who's supposed to do it, but it's not me." Nobody wants to take responsibility for anything anymore. We would rather blame others that step up to the plate because we think it's safer. Well it's not safer, its just plain cowardly. Uggggh, can you tell it drives me crazy? Chick Jana

My biggest pet peeve is people who display their lack of patience in public. Here are some examples:

Example 1 -- The driver who flips me off as he/she speeds by me on the interstate -- driving 30+ miles over the speed limit is a selfish act.
Example 2 -- The person who sighs loudly while in line at the post office -- apparently his/her time is more valuable than the rest of ours.
Example 3 -- The traveler who complains about the increased security delays -- no further explanation needed.

I've had to work hard to learn to ignore these not-so important people... in my book anyway. Chick Kristin

My biggest pet peeve is calling a company (such as AMEX) and having to pick between several options before I am instructed to punch in my acct #, mother's BD and my SSN. Then I hold for what seems like an eternity; thank God for speaker phones! Once I finally reach a live person, they ask for all the info again - I hate punching in lots of info on phones, due mainly to my getting-worse-eyesight. But once I've done it, it is just plain rude to then make me say it all again! Tess

My biggest pet peeve would be when a person yawns while they are speaking to you. If you are too tired to even speak, then keep your mouth shut and don't waste my time!! Rhonda

People who gossip. If you do not have something good to say about someone, keep it to yourself. Bonnie

Passive aggressive personality types.You know the ones. Always smile, appear never negative but always come in the back door on items they want to complain or whine about. Very cordial but hate confrontation. These personality types always have the problem and nicely point it out to you eluding to the fact they think it should be fixed but never offer a solution or take the next step to fix it. As you can tell, a real peeve of mine. Betsy

People who are always late or late a lot. How inconsiderate. Chick Margesu

My pet peeve is when you take an airline in first class and you get the same service as in coach...what does the airline do with the extra money that the customer pays to get the extra service... go figure. Goldlenchick

My pet peeve is people who think they are superior to everyone else, and don't even know how to treat others with respect. ChickMel
