What are your favorite & least favorite parts of any day?

My favorite part of each day is having my cup of coffee, in the morning while sitting on the patio overlooking the river. I sit there for 30 minutes. So basically, my favorite part of the day is doing nothing for a half an hour. What's that telling you?

My least favorite part of the day is getting out of bed to kids that are starving and late for where they are supposed to be. I feed them, (get them off to school when there is school), come home, get my coffee, and sit. Phew, that's a lot of work for one day. Chalk it up to one lazy Chick. Chick Karin

Favorite: The moment my dear sweet husband hands me my perfectly mixed (Chick Megan will understand) cup of Java! Yes, he does this for me EVERY morning... I'm definitely spoiled.

Least favorite: Probably from 5-9pm when I'm trying to get the kids fed, my husband and I fed, have an adult conversation and get the kids ready for bed. Soooooo whipped by then it probably explains my lack of participation on our message boards! Chick Cheryl

My favorite part of the day is 12:00 midnight to 3:00 AM. Sounds strange but around here it is the best time to get any work done. Everyone is asleep, no one makes any demands on my time and I can really get through a lot of work quickly. It also is a time when for some reason my head is clear and thought processes flow well. There are so many favorite's during my day: snuggling with my kids in the morning, my first cup of coffee while catching a few moments of Katie and Matt, having my favorite tomato/basil soup at lunch, sharing funny stories with co-workers, having my kids run to me with open arms at the end of the day, the sweet smell of my kids after a bath and the 2 minutes of absolute peacefulness I feel right before I fall asleep.

My least favorite is dropping my kids off at Miss Nancy and sometime hearing them cry and wishing they could stay with me... oh the guilt... Chick Jana

My favorite part of the day is when I've returned from daughter's daycare. I get to spend almost one hour with her before her dad comes home from work. It's just Madison and I sharing one-on-one time, singing, playing and dancing.

My least part of the day is after our daughter's gone to bed and I'm too tired to exercise. Chick Kristin

My favorite part of almost any day is early in the morning. I always feel the best in the morning---especially those mornings when I don't have to rush around! I get my first cup of coffee, read the news paper, check the computer to see what else is new, plan my day slowly, then take my shower and get dressed and proceed with the day.

My least favorite part of the day is perhaps when I am cooking. Chick Jeanette

My favorite time of the day is late evening; a lovely summer night breeze coming through the open windows; a chilled glass of wine; writing in my journal while the rest of the world calming down. My least favorite part of the day is when I have to get early in the morning when I’d rather stay in the comfort of my bed… usually because I’ve been up all night. ChickAngel
