QUESTION of the WEEKAnswer This Week's Question >> | QOW Archives What is your favorite ROMANCE TIP?One can never lose hiring a surprise baby sitter! Chick Cheryl Fill the house with scented candles (especially since we just purchased YCC) and take a bubble bath together. Chick Susie On a clear evening, all you need is a bottle of red wine, a blanket and the view of the night sky. If the moon happens to be full, you'll be amazed at how this enhances the romantic effect. Now if you have a CD player handy, turn on the new Norah Jones CD, Come Away With Me, and have that lofting in the background. Awwww, absolute, blissful romance. Chick Jana Conversation. Conversation. Conversation. Chick Karin Now that I'm married with three kids, my idea of romance and what works with my husband has changed A LOT. While lingerie and spontaneity were the romancers of choice back then, being showered and sly winks behind unsuspecting runny-nosed kids seem to work these days. In fact lately, I mean--since Kat was born anyway, the way I butter the toast or scrub the toilets seems quite sexy to my husband... Chick Megan That "special" smile across the room in a crowd. Chick Jeanette Chicks love to receive flowers, whether there are 6 or 12 or just one single rose. My husband and I have been giving each other just one Rose on special or non-special occasions. We leave them for each other at home or have "IT" delivered at work. The romance tip is that it is signed "Olive U. Lots". It sure works for us. Robin Love yourself, it makes it easier for others to love you too. Bluematrix Romance is different for each couple. I highly recommend Romance 101 by Godek. His books not only give you a springboard to your own ideas, but also frees you from dinner and candlelight. My husband would only 'put up' with that sort of romance -- for him it wouldn't be romantic. So for us romance is sometimes fishing on a waterproof blanket at night -- and not really fishing, but staring at the water... talking about our future. And sometimes its playing a game of monopoly. The thing is, if it's not romantic to one of you -- its not romance. Evelyn Kiss... that's it. Just keep on kissing. No matter how long you've been married, don't stop kissing each other... lips, tongue, all of it! Chick Tracy
