Question of the Week

What was your worst dating experience?

Sitting across the table in a fine restraunt, watching the person your with get drunk and slurrrrrrring his words, asking him not to drink anymore, getting in an argument and him leaving so I had to take a cab home! Never ever ever again... Not the greatest valentine's date. Chick Lynn

Worst dating experience that comes to mind was dating John --- on a motor cycle. I didn't like John and I was scared of riding on motorcycles. Therefore I had to hang on to him tight. Ish! Chick Jeanette

Probably when I threw up all over inside my boyfriend's car. (Guess it didn't affect him too much as he asked me to marry him a couple of weeks later.) Chick Karin

I dated this guy that seemed like he really had it together... he was 25 and I was 20 and I was going to college in Maine. I asked him one night if he could give my friends and I a ride home from a Ziggy Marley concert. He said he had some sales calls to make and he'd be out late, so he'd come straight from there to get us. When he arrived I expected him to still be in his suit, but he was wearing sweats. I casually asked him if he got done early or whatever, just curious about the change of clothes. He seemed really nervous and weird, so after my friends ot out, I pushed the issue until he told the truth... which was... He had to go to the bathroom really bad when leaving one of his accounts. The maintenance guy was working on the bathroom and since he couldn't hold it, he peed his pants! I was so turned off! I mean, c'mon, that's what you guys were blessed with... a little hand-held unit that can pretty much let it go fairly discreetly just about anywhere! Dissssssgusting! Chick Megan

I can't recall any horrible events or experiences except one. A friend wanted to fix me up with her boyfriend's buddy at our school carnival. But I already had a date and also had to work as a clown for the first half of the evening. I lived only about 15 minutes from school so after my shift selling balloons I drove home and showered to get all of the clown makeup off and then planned to return with my date (not the fix up my friend wanted to arrange) to school for the end of the carnival and dance. Needless to say it was quite an awkward moment when there were two guys waiting the our living room when I was ready to go -- my poor parents didn't have a clue as to what was up, so they invited them both in. It was not only embarrassing but a very uncomfortable moment to sort out. Chick Susie

I guess my worst dating experience was a blind date I went on in college. He came to the dorm to pick me up and he was about 6 feet tall and just as wide!! Not that I'm small but, wow, was I shocked!! The entire date was watching him EAT--we went to a movie and he had trouble keeping the popcorn, pop, candy and peanuts from falling off his lap---needless to say it was only one date! Chick Julie

PS: the frozen chocolate banana was the last straw

In the 8th grade, I "dated" a guy who was about a foot shorter than me. What can I say? I heard he sort of liked me, which, of course, makes someone all the more attractive to a person, so we went steady! I've never heard the end of it, even at my 20 year reunion last year! I think I've actually obliterated the really bad experiences later in my life from my memory! Chick Cheryl

A blind double date. We didn't hit it off in the front seat, but couple in the back seat definitely did. Use your imagination. GROSS Ann Onymous

The first (and only) date with a guy who picked me up and wouldn't stop apologizing for having breath that smelled like dog s***. Uhmmm... okay... thanks for that lovely announcement. I didn't even bother getting close enough to find out how accurate the comparison might have been. Augie
