The
Best & Worst of 2000
The Chicks surely had a year to bring in the millennium. We got a
website up and running, we had pajamas created by Nick and Nora, and we even bought a few
stocks. What were the Chicks' Best and Worst moments of 2000? We
thought we'd ask.
Chick Julie
Best: My boyfriend had a tumor removed from his small intestine
and it was benign. Building a house in Georgia for a family that needed
help. The whole Habitat experience shared with bold old and new friends. Worst: Firing my son at my golf course. Seeing my mother's
failing health and knowing there is nothing I can do to help her.
Chick Susie
Best: Having my family together for the holidays and of course,
winning the Springfield Multipurpose facility contract. Worst:
Having both my parents diagnosed with cancer in the same year.
Chick Lynn
Best: Finding out that my husband was going to be okay after his
bump on his head. Worst: Not knowing for sure if he was going to
be okay. Our health is everything!
Chick Kristin
Best: Marrying the love of my life. Worst:
Going back to work where I have to sit all day. Now, I have to fight
butt spread daily. the battle will never end.
Chick Jeanette
Best: I learned many new things this past year; how to get around
New York City, how to build a house, and how to ride a horse. Worst:
Learning to do new things can make you sore. Revised
Best and Worst: I got a new
grandson this past year, but it was terrible that I wasn't able to see
him enough.
Chick Megan
Worst: Having my husband go through Post-Concussion
syndrome. Awful. Best:
Celebrating my husband's new career as a coach! It gave us both a
brighter outlook on life. For the first time in four years, we feel
optimistic about the future!
Chick Cheryl
Best: My first-born child started preschool. (Yippee! I have time
to brush my hair!) Worst: My
first-born child started preschool. (I cried for a week!)
Chick Jana
Best: Giving birth to my baby boy. Worst:
Letting my drivers license expire and waiting six months to get it
renewed. I almost went to jail twice. Sheez, I've had a pretty good
year if that's the worse thing that has happened to me!
Chick Karin
Best: Traveling through Italy and Russia with my family. Ciao
Bella Babushka! Worst: Losing
my mother-in-law to brain cancer. |
