Yeee Haaaaaaaaa!!! An up week!! Everything was up. But taking into account where the market has been, there was no other way to go.

A big deal in China... that took twelve years to complete! Shell Oil signed a four billion dollar contract with the China National Offshore Oil Group. I wonder if it took so long 'cuz they had to get over that Great Wall. Royal Dutch Petroleum (RD) owns Shell Oil.

Also this week, Proctor and Gamble (PG) warned its investors of slower growth. They are refocusing their business on their best products, (Tide and Pringles.) Investors didn't take kindly to the reorganization and its stock fell 12.5% to 68.25.

Chick Susie's favorite company, EMC (EMC) had a big deal of their own this week. They acquired CrosStor Software for $300 million in stock! They are doing everything they can to become the leader in the network storage arena. I'm sure it's biggest rival Network Appliance is going to have something to say about that. Priceline.com (PCLN) announced earning their earnings this week. They weren't pretty. They also announced that their CFO Heidi Miller resigned. Then, to add salt to the online ticket sellers wound, they have to lay off some employees. Since Chick Susie stopped buying her airline tickets through them, I guess they aren't getting as much business.

Oh, and one more thing... I saw Charlie's Angels today. If you go see it, stick with it... it gets better the longer you sit there. I actually laughed a couple of times. (My kids loved it and now I own the CD.)
