Saturday, July 21, 2001

8:00-8:30 a.m.  Early Chick gets the worm. Continental Breakfast in your pajamas. I'm totally serious. Pajamas must be worn. If you need a cute pair, some will be on sale throughout the weekend. Find Chick Lynn, she'll have a nest full.

8:30-9:30 a.m.  Go over the Twelve Steps of The Chicks Dozen philosophy using specific company examples.

9:30-11:00 a.m.  Break-Out Sessions - Break into smaller groups and do a couple of companies’ numbers on your own within your group, Chicks will help. One spokeschick reports on their group's conclusions. Everyone in attendance will vote on where we should invest some Chick dollars. This money will be invested into the company(s) we vote on. The name of the portfolio will be Chicks Fest. Then we’ll track it and watch it grow (cross your fingers) on the website. Companies that we will be looking at vary from retailers to airlines, and others you would know.

11:00 a.m. Change into your "beach clothes" up in your room.

11:45 p.m.  Bus Leaves for Lunch at Chick Lynn's on the St. Croix River. Bring your bathing suit, because you never know if the water spirit may move you.

12:15-3:15 p.m.  Lunch at Chick Lynn's
Many options while at Lynn's: Relax and read book, meet with your club, talk to Chick Jeanette about the doing a club tax return (forms available), swim in the scenic St. Croix, age your skin, sit in the hot tub, have your book signed, talk to Chick Cheryl about setting up a club (forms available), discuss your golf swing with Chick Julie, learn to play Bunko with Chicks Susie and Lynn, or eat, drink and just be plain ole Chicky.

3:15 p.m.  Bus Pick-Up from lunch. Arrive back at hotel at 4:00 p.m.
Shower, change into something yellow, (again, I'm totally serious, WEAR YELLOW) and head over to Mall of America at anytime via the hotel shuttle bus.

7:00 p.m.  Dinner Celebration at The Café Odyssey on the third floor of the Mall of America. (We have reserved the patio at the restaurant. The food and beverages are not included in the registration fee, so whatever you order to eat is on your own tab. I'm guessing: bring an extra $25 for dinner, unless you're really hungry.)

Open Microphone: Chicks from across the country can share their Chick experience, club experience, a joke, a song, or a hot stock tip. Look for some surprise guests to show up.

Awards Presentation: Chick Golfer Awards, Best Yellow Outfit, Miss Chickgeniality, Most Hilarious Investment Club Story, Most Exciting Pajamas, Funniest Chick Tip, Most Horrific Investment Story, Cutest bathing suit, Bunko winners, Most Creative Club Names, A New Chick Club Starter, and Chick Karin's favorite, The Chick Who Burned the Candle the Longest From Both Ends at Chick Fest '01. (A more detailed contest agenda will be distributed upon arrival.)

Chick Photo: All the Chicks gather for a really cool yellow picture.
