Welcome to our hot August newsletter! It was so steamy here in Minnesota the past couple of weeks that I couldn't move, much less work. So, needless to say, you are getting the newsletter a little late. (I have no air conditioning as I'm trying to rough it "up north" in God's country. It's not roughing it, it's stupid.)

A couple of things and I'll let you get going on your "back-to-school" shopping. (Yee Ha! They're finally going back to school!) Chick Fest took place in July and it was a huge hit! At least for me it was. I had so much fun meeting Chicks from across the country and I think everyone learned a little something to bring back home. Check out the review and the pictures!

Chick Fest went so well that we decided to offer seminars here at our website. Have you been wanting to start an investment club but not sure how the logistics of it would work? Or did you want to learn a little bit more than just reading what we offer in the Chicks Eye View? We thought it would be a brilliant idea to get you jump-started through our site and a mock club. Starting September 24th, anyone who wants to try out the club atmosphere, learn the Chicks' investment philosophy and run some companies through the Chicks' Dozen can do so through the seminar! I'll be the leader and we'll start classes September 24th, but you can access the class at anytime. We'll meet online in a private chat room, walk through weekly assignments on our private message board, and discuss amongst ourselves which companies we'd most like to invest in.
